Bad choices, bad luck, regardless ... very frustrating!

This friday august 28th, winds are comming from east. I decided to go to threshold of the 06L to see some heavies on landing... When I saw a little Dash of Nav Canada taking off...
Interesting at first, but very boring in the long! And I miss a lot of very interesting visitors! It was a callibration of ILS on the 06L during +/- 3 hours... Now, I hate to see planes of Nav Canada at take off...

After 48h of work at the weather desk, forcasting this hot temperature with high humidity (I think we had near 42 with humidex) and the smog warning (which gives ugly yellow sky), I decided to go to take few pictures of the elegant visitor of that day, Swiss with an A340...

Oups...! Something is missing...

Two days ago, I saw on a forum that the Airbus 330 of Corsair (F-HBIL) is flying without its left Winglet. Stroke of luck, flight SS0900 (Orly-Montreal) was done by the same aircraft, always with the missing part!

Go Around!

With the work on runway 24R-6L which lasted for just over 2 months, the majority of activities take place on Runway 24L-6R.
Lufthansa has sent this Sunday July 19th an A340 that hadn’t been seen since 2 months and was replaced by A330.
And the least we can say is it was well pointed out! The A340 is a relatively slow take-off prevented the arrival of a B767 Air Canada from Vancouver ...
Message from the tower: "Lufthansa 475, Clear to take-off on 24L, No Delay, Traffic short final".

Spectacular take-off!

Some bad gossips claim that the Airbus 340 can only take-off with the help of the curves of the Earth... Maybe this is not so wrong...
