First spotting of '09 with a nice visitor!

It's with a beautiful sunny and freezing cold day that I started my 2009 season of spotting. With the advent OAI's DC-10, it took me no more to go brave the wind and blowing snow low ...

The aircraft [C-GPAT], on a scheduled passenger flight to Quebec City, experienced control difficulties shortly after takeoff from Varadero. The decision was made to return to the origin airport, and upon landing, it was discovered that the majority of the Airbus' rudder had torn away from the vertical stabilizer.
